Panoramic

A panoramic gives us a clear, wide view of your teeth, upper and lower jaws, and surrounding structures in one image. It allows us to see how your adult teeth are developing, including teeth that have not yet come in, as well as identify missing, crowded, or impacted teeth and check the position of your tooth roots. This information helps us understand how your teeth and jaws are developing and create a personalized treatment plan for you.

Lateral Cephalometric

A lateral cephalometric is a side-view image of the head that allows us to see how your teeth, jaws, and facial bones fit together. It helps us evaluate your bite, jaw growth, and the position of your teeth in relation to your jaws and facial profile. This information helps us understand your unique facial and dental development and create a personalized treatment plan.

CBCT

A CBCT (3D) scan provides a more detailed, three-dimensional view of specific areas of the teeth and jaws when additional information is needed. This complete picture can be used to rotate, zoom into, and study an area in all three planes of space. It may be recommended in certain cases to more closely evaluate tooth position, impacted teeth, jaw structures, or other areas when the additional detail is helpful for diagnosis, treatment planning, or during orthodontic treatment.

3D Scanner

If you or your kids have ever had orthodontic impressions taken the old-fashioned way, you remember the goopy tray, the gagging, and the two minutes that felt like twenty. Our 3D scanner replaces all of that with a small wand that takes a few passes around the mouth and builds a precise digital model of your teeth in real time, right on the screen in front of you.

There’s no tray, no mess, and no waiting for a mold to set. For a nervous 8-year-old in for their first consult, that difference is everything — a scan feels more like a game than a procedure, and most kids are curious rather than anxious once they see their own teeth pop up on the monitor. For adults, it just means less discomfort, and most find the experience futuristic.

The digital model is also more accurate than a physical impression, which matters once treatment starts. It’s what lets us plan tooth movement with real precision and order appliances that fit right the first time. If you’re a candidate for Angel Aligners, this scan is what your aligners are built from, so you can have confidence they will arrive with the ideal fit.
